How far ahead to order print for an Atlanta show
The short answer: Approve your proof by noon for delivery in 2 business days, or next day with rush. The longer answer depends on when you land and how many people on your team need to sign off. Here's how to plan it.
Work back from your hotel
- Pick the day you want your print at your hotel. For most exhibitors, that's the day before setup or the day you check in.
- Count back two business days. That's your proof deadline. Approve by noon that day.
- Leave time before the proof. Upload your file early enough to look over the proof calmly, ask for a change and see it again.
- Add time for your own sign-offs. If marketing, sales or a legal team has to approve copy, that usually takes longer than the printing.
Noon means noon Eastern, Atlanta time. Worth a note if your team works on Pacific or Central time.
The days we print
We print Monday to Friday, with Saturday courier delivery. That's handy for shows that set up on a Sunday or Monday.
Example. Your team flies in Sunday and setup starts Monday. Approve your proof by noon Thursday, and your print is at your hotel Saturday, before you land. Free delivery to your Atlanta hotel.
When rush helps
Next-day rush, flat $25. Use it when a file comes in late, a price changes or you run short during the show.
Rush isn't available on foam boards or the retractable banner. Order those first, on the regular timeline, then cards and flyers can follow.
Our advice: send files the week before you fly
You can order later. But a week gives you room for a proof change, a second set of eyes and a team member who's slow to reply. It also means your print isn't the thing you're thinking about on the plane.
